Job Description
THE POSITION

The South Mountain Restoration Center a long-term-care nursing home facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is looking for dedicated and motivated candidates. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will perform semi-skilled tasks either independently or in support of a skilled trade worker. Your responsibilities will include operating various construction groundskeeping and maintenance tools and equipment often utilizing skills developed through hands-on experience. You will carry out minor repairs and routine groundskeeping and custodial tasks with a significant degree of independence with your work being reviewed upon completion. More complex construction or repair activities will be conducted under the guidance of a skilled trade worker or supervisor.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch. Schedule may change based on operational need.
- This position may require overtime.
- Free parking is available.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction;or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditionsof Employment:- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C drivers license or equivalent.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will requirea medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
