Job Description

Title: Millwright - Duct Work Estimator
Job ID: 1332
Location: Remote
Position is 1099 contract work is as needed

Must be US Citizen

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of project management/estimating experience.
  • Valid trade certificate or experience in millwrighting or related industrial maintenance field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing millwright projects from start to finish.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Experience with Microsoft
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Encourage safe work practices. Ensure work is being completed safely and project manager is conducting themselves with high professional standards and a positive attitude.
  • Develop detailed estimates project plans schedules and budgets.
  • Meet with clients/customers at their facility to review opportunities/ongoing work.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors.
  • Allocate resources efficiently including workforce equipment and materials.
  • Lead and motivate project teams providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with clients contractors and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and performance tracking expenditures against budget and timeline. Including regular site visits as required.
  • Managing scope i.e. change orders schedule changes.
  • Address any issues or obstacles that arise during the project promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets established standards.
  • Sales related to company services/products cold calls site visits etc.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including plans permits contracts and reports.
  • Manager/cultivate current and new customer relationships.
  • Support all Exact Industrial groups and subcontractors.
  • Keeping up to date on billing/progress draws
  • Review project outcomes and lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
