Job Description
Overview
Element has an opportunity for a EMC Test Engineer who can apply engineering problem solving skills to evaluate wireless devices for global Regulatory compliance involving EMC/RF Testing for wireless consumer technologies in a fast-paced environment and industry. Performs testing of the latest cellular (4G/5G) and unlicensed (WIFI/BT/etc.) technologies to determine FCC (US) and ISED (Canada) and other global regulatory body compliance.
Salary: $38-45/hr
Responsibilities
- Performs and analyze EMC/RF and RF exposure compliance testing and evaluations per regulatory specifications
- Compiling and reporting test results using MS Word MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Evaluate devices and determine applicable standards
- Interface and communicate with clients and engineering teams in a technical and professional manner
- Work in a team environment and assist in development and improvement of test methodologies reporting coordination of various tasks etc
- Coordinating and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any related STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) degree
- Must be customer-focused organized good communication skills fast learner team player and detail-oriented
- Wireless/EMC/RF/Laboratory environment experience preferred
