The Company a modern mining operation located in St. Lawrence County NY is now hiring a Millwright to join our experienced maintenance team. Were a short drive from the Thousand Islands Lake Ontario the Adirondack Mountains and world-class skiing in Lake Placid. Explore nearby Canadian cities like Ottawa and Montreal just 2-3 hours away!

Millwright Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair cone and jaw crushers crusher screens conveyor belts rollers and drive units.
  • Rebuild and maintain industrial slurry pumps.

  • Perform welding metal fabrication and pipe fitting tasks.

  • Ensure compliance with MSHA and company safety policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of repairs maintenance and inspections.

  • Collaborate with mill operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Be flexible with work hours to support unplanned maintenance or project needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with rod and ball milling is required.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and industrial machinery experience.

  • Skilled in using hand tools welding equipment and diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical drawings (preferred).
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Physically able to lift/move heavy equipment and work in a physically demanding environment.

  • Previous industrial or mining experience is a plus.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
