What You Will Achieve
The Director AI & Data Product Analysis and Design will lead and manage our Data Product Analysis team driving the maturity and delivery of data solutions and customer-centric design practices. This role will be responsible for ensuring data product design follows industry best practices to create customer-centric AI and data product solutions delivering high-impact value for R&D.
This role provides leadership and people management responsibility to a team of AI and Data Product Analysts. The Director will focus on mentoring and developing team members fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. They will be responsible for performance management career development and ensuring the team has the resources and guidance needed to succeed. The Director will also promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth encouraging innovation and teamwork.
In addition they will oversee business analysis processes to support the Digital Pfizer AIDA R&D team in relation to data product initiatives. This role will provide strategic direction and product design expertise to ensure design and delivery excellence. The Director will establish best practices optimize workflows and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
How You Will Achieve It
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of business analysts providing guidance mentorship and performance management.
- Data Analysis Strategy: Develop and implement business analysis strategies that mature our ways of working to further accelerate the impact of data products on R&D.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with customers and members of the project teams and liaise between business and technical members as needed to ensure business needs are effectively translated into data products delivered.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Oversight: Provide strategic oversight of business analysis efforts ensuring delivery excellence.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation of business requirements processes and outcomes and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Training and Development: Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team fostering a culture of innovation and growth
- Thought Partnership: Act as a key thought partner to other leaders across R&D vertical to ensure consistent leadership alignment and support.
- Communications: Prepare high-quality presentations talking points and correspondence that contribute to AIDA R&D Verticals communications to convey key messages to intended audiences
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelors Degree required
- 10 years of relevant work experience and demonstrated progressive leadership experience
- Broad range of experience demonstrating strong leadership skills: decisive analytical persuasive equitable influence strategic
- Experience coaching and mentoring other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and mastery of working in a matrix environment
- Familiarity with strategic and operating planning processes
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with past example(s) of strategy contributions
- Must be able to both drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality
- Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions
- Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong writing presentation and influencing skills
