Contract Commissioning Manager - Wastewater Projects
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Commissioning Manager to join our dynamic team in the wastewater treatment industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the commissioning process for complex wastewater treatment projects ensuring that all systems and equipment are properly installed tested and operational before handover to the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans for wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the commissioning process including pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up activities
- Collaborate with project managers engineers contractors and clients to ensure smooth execution of commissioning activities
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests of all systems and equipment to verify proper installation and functionality
- Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies discovered during the commissioning process
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports including test results performance data and recommendations for improvements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and safety protocols throughout the commissioning process
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders
- Manage commissioning budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and suppliers
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Environmental Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure
- Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager or similar role in the wastewater industry
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes equipment and technologies
- Extensive experience in project management including budget and schedule control
- Proficiency in commissioning methodologies tools and best practices
- Excellent understanding of relevant industry standards regulations and safety requirements
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required

As the Contract Commissioning Manager for our wastewater projects you will be responsible for ensuring the successful commissioning of complex wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure. Commissioning Planning and Execution
You will be responsible for developing comprehensive commissioning plans tailored to each projects specific requirements. This includes:
- Identifying all systems and equipment that require commissioning
- Establishing commissioning objectives and acceptance criteria
- Defining the sequence of commissioning activities
- Coordinating with project stakeholders to integrate commissioning activities into the overall project schedule
- Overseeing the execution of pre-commissioning commissioning
