The Lyon College School of Dental Medicine is excited to invite applications for an energetic self-starting Philanthropy Officer. This is a wonderful opportunity for a passionate fundraising professional to help build a portfolio and shape the
future of dental education in Arkansas and beyond. The Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in building lasting relationships with alumni friends and supporters inspiring major philanthropic gifts that directly impact students research and the broader dental community. This is a hands-on donor-facing position for someone who thrives on creating connections and making a meaningful difference.

Bachelors degree required; advanced degree or CFRE certification preferred. At least 7 years of proven success in major gift fundraising ideally in education healthcare or related fields. Demonstrated ability to self-motivate prioritize independently and consistently move prospects toward major commitments.
Highly motivated self-starter with a natural ability to build strong authentic relationships.
Outstanding interpersonal storytelling and communication skills.
Comfort working independently while also collaborating with a passionate
mission-driven team.
Willingness to travel regularly and participate in occasional evening and weekend
activities.
Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required.
