Moyer Nissan is currently seeking a motivated experienced Automotive Service Manager to help oversee our service staff.

Essential Duties:
Set goals and objectives for department staff
Understand and comply with manufacturers warranty and policies
Develop and facilitate training and development for technicians advisors and other department staff
Monitor technicians daily productivity
Ensure all customersvehicles receive a complimentary multi-point inspection to be presented to all customers and maintained with repair orders to be stored
Work closely with Parts Manager to ensure availability of essential parts and follow up on special parts ordered
Serve as dealership contact and maintain a positive relationship with the factory representatives
Responsible for the department hiring as well as addressing and resolving any issues that may arise within the department
Maintain a positive and productive environment
Prepare bi-weekly payrolls and commissions for accounting and monitor time sheets work schedules.
Review warranty repair orders and maintain communication with Warranty Administrator to make sure we are paid in a timely manner from the factory on all work processed through warranty pay
Implement marketing plan utilizing tools provided by the manufacturer as well as our company marketing department to help promote new and repeat business
Work closely with other Service Managers General Manager Controller and other department heads to achieve company objectives
Provide top notch customer service and respond to all customer complaints immediately in accordance with company guidelines
Maintain high KPI scores in accordance with factory guidelines to max out company profitability
Maintain 24 hour follow up with all customers to confirm satisfaction
Manage labor operations codes and prepare pricing and maintenance menus
Make sure work area and customer waiting areas are kept clean and good condition
Maintain a safe work environment
Ability to solve problems and have excellent communication skills
Comply with all policies set forth in the company handbook
Other duties may be assigned as needed based on company needs
Requirements:
Previous service management experience as a shop foreman assistant manager in an automotive dealership environment.
Nissan experience is a plus but any manufacturer is welcomed
Technical automotive knowledge
Ability to manage others and keep a level head is required
Organized
Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Basic computer knowledge
Valid drivers license
Drug free workplace
Background check required
