Job Description
Spotsylvania County Public Schools is hiring aSupervisor of School Performance to join our growing division for the 2025-2026 School Year!This unique position focuses on improving learning outcomes through targeted strategies including the effective use of high-intensity tutoring robust attendance interventions and data-driven instructional leadership in math and literacy. With a strong foundation in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) the Supervisor of School Performance ensures that every school implements evidence-based practices that close learning gaps and promote academic growth.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements a district-wide research-based vision for continuous school improvement that aligns with federal state and local accountability expectations ensuring sustained academic growth and equitable outcomes across all schools
- Guides the implementation and monitoring of MTSS frameworks ensuring that academic behavioral and social-emotional interventions are effective data-driven and equitably delivered.
- Collaborates with school leaders and instructional staff to design and execute improvement plans that leverage root cause analysis SMART goals and progress monitoring tools to drive student achievement
- Analyzes school performance data conduct needs assessments and utilize key performance indicators to inform decision-making and support targeted interventions for underperforming student groups
- Leads monitoring visits guide school improvement planning cycles and ensure compliance with federal and state accountability requirements including schools identified for support and improvement: Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) and Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI))
- Coaches and collaborates with principals and school leadership teams to strengthen their capacity in instructional leadership data analysis teacher development and effective PLC implementation
- Designs and delivers professional learning opportunities for school administrators leadership teams and instructional coaches focused on effective school improvement practices instructional systems and distributed leadership.
- Identifies and addresses opportunity gaps by supporting schools in designing inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of all students including English learners students with disabilities and economically disadvantaged learner

Education and Experience:
- Masters Degree in Educational Leadership Curriculum & Instruction or related field
- Currently possesses -OR- is in the process of obtaining a Postgraduate Professional Certificate with endorsement in Administration/Supervision
- Five (5) years of successful full-time teaching experience with demonstrated impact in literacy and/or math instruction
- Strong record of leading or supporting professional development and instructional improvement
- School or district-level leadership experience with a focus on school improvement and demonstrated impact on student learning outcomes
