As a Software Engineer for Installed Apps you will bring your technical knowledge and experience into a team of software test automation and quality assurance engineers. You will routinely collaborate with your peers both within your own and other software teams to ensure adherence to common software development standards and practices.
In this role you will:
Drive software development efforts in our installed applications for Windows Mac iOS and Android in close collaboration with peers and team members.
Maintain and enhance existing solutions with a focus on quality stability and maintainability.
Help modernize our suite of apps contributing to our migration from Xamarin/Electron to a unified cross-platform solution using .NET MAUI.
Commit to understanding and applying design patterns software architectures dependencies and system interfaces.
Take an active role in team discussions planning and prioritization to promote a healthy and efficient way of working.
Ensure software meets high standards of quality security maintainability and extensibility.
What Were Looking For:
A bachelors or masters degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience building and delivering installed applications across Windows Mac iOS and Android platforms.
Solid experience with .NET technologies and cross-platform development using Xamarin MAUI and possibly Electron.
Working knowledge of software quality assurance principles and development best practices.
A technical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills and Requirements:
A structured approach to both short- and long-term development planning.
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to navigate requirements from multiple disciplines.
A respectful professional and values-driven mindset in line with Tobii Dynavox culture.
Flexible collaborative and hands-on working style.
Based in or around Stockholm with the ability to meet and work from the office as needed.
