Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Investments to lead strategic M&A transactions in the metals & mining and oil & gas sectors with a geographic focus on the CIS and Middle East. This role requires a professional with a strong track record of closed deals and a deep understanding of industrial value chains and sector dynamics.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end execution of M&A and strategic investment deals

Manage deal structuring negotiations due diligence and closing processes

Build and maintain a pipeline of investment opportunities in the target sectors

Present investment cases and recommendations to the Investment Committee

Collaborate with external advisors legal counsel and technical consultants

Monitor industry developments geopolitical trends and macroeconomic risks
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in investment banking M&A advisory private equity or corporate M&A
- Proven track record of successfully closed transactions in metals & mining and/or oil & gas - deal sheet required
- In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of operational commercial and regulatory aspects of the sectors
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Excellent negotiation leadership and communication abilities
- Advanced degree in Finance Economics or a related field (MBA or CFA is a plus)
- Fluency in English and Russian
