Cloud Infrastructure & Service Desk Team Leader
The role will:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the infrastructure team providing guidance mentoring and priority management to ensure alignment with business and IT goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify system requirements and design optimal secure cloud and on-premises solutions.
- Oversee and ensure the security of systems and data including vulnerability management access control and compliance with security policies.
- Ensure high availability and resource efficiency through expert-level administration and optimization of hosts and servers.
- Develop and support procedures for routine IT tasks enabling efficient and secure execution by support staff.
- Install configure and maintain software and hardware components ensuring proper documentation of system design configurations and security practices.
- Perform in-depth root-cause analysis to address service interruptions security incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation outlining key findings solutions and system performance and security insights.
- Manage and oversee backup and recovery strategies ensuring secure data storage successful restore testing and compliance with business continuity standards.
Requirements - BSc in Computer Science or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience in the field of cloud computing (preferably Microsoft solutions) and classic VM administration
- Excellent knowledge development in windows scripting
- Experience in network administration preferably with Fortinet solutions.
- Hands-on experience in SysOps ensuring system stability and performance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
