PermanentThe role is vital to supporting us on our journey to enhance and mature our Operational Resilience
capabilities ensuring we can recover quickly from unexpected events while continuing to serve our
members and participants across the organisation. This position will be within the central Operational
Resilience Team and will assist the Operational Resilience Managers in all aspects of supporting the
Operational Resilience framework.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the delivery and embedment of the Operational Resilience Framework.
Assist with the embedment of a resilience culture across the organisation including supporting
training and awareness programmes.
Supporting the Operational Resilience Team with the review of the identification of important
business services including setting the impact tolerances mapping the services and identifying
vulnerabilities.
Supporting with defining a range of scenarios to challenge impact tolerances including extreme but
plausible scenarios.
Supporting the delivery of scenario exercising and testing.
Create and maintain templates documentation and reports ensuring they are accurate and
insightful.
Maintain and update Business Continuity Plans and Business Impact Analysis
Maintain and update Third-Party due-diligence questionnaires and responses
Manage the Operational Resilience Mailbox responding to queries and escalating promptly when
needed.
Required Knowledge and Level of Experience:
Experience of Business Continuity or Operational Resilience
Experience of designing presenting and preparing reporting information in multiple formats for
different audiences
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
Experience of delivering or supporting the delivery of scenario testing
Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements for operational resilience e.g. FCA and
Bank of England
Experience of working across teams as well as being able to present to different stakeholders
