We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Team Manager to lead our Review and Quality Assurance Team.

Your role

Based at Landmark House in Ipswich the Review and Quality and Assurance Team plays a vital role in shaping and delivering high-quality supported housing reviews across Suffolk. As Team Manager you will bring specialist knowledge leadership skills and a passion for promoting independence and wellbeing.

You will work collaboratively with local system partners to deliver excellent social work practice fulfilling statutory responsibilities under the Care Act 2014 Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Mental Health Act 1983 (2007).

The Review and Quality Assurance Team is part of the wider Adult Social Care Mental Health Learning Disability and Autism Service. This includes locality teams a forensic team a transitions team a review team and the Countywide AMHP service. Together we are committed to achieving the best outcomes for the people of Suffolk.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead supervise and support a multidisciplinary team fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory duties and deliver high-quality person-centred services.
  • Build strong partnerships with advocacy services support providers and community health teams.
  • Drive innovation and service improvement through collaborative working and digital solutions.

You will need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in Learning Disability and Autism services and working with partner organisations.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • A forward-thinking approach to service delivery including the use of digital technology.

The team

The Review and Quality Assurance Team operates across the county in close collaboration with Service Development and Contracts to conduct supported housing reviews. Guided by the Signs of Safety model we focus on building upon existing strengths to help individuals achieve their goals and live more independently. Our team includes a Team Manager Senior Practitioner Social Workers and Senior Independence and Wellbeing Practitioner - all experienced passionate and supportive professionals. We currently offer a hybrid working model combining home and office-based work. With a cohesive and encouraging management team committed to continuous professional development we recognise that our staff are our greatest asset.
