Main purpose:
You will oversee the business operations in Algeria you will be responsible for working closely with the distributor(s) and managing Roche Teams within the country to execute commercial strategies and drive revenue growth and market share. You will plays a pivotal role in expanding the business presence and optimizing distributors relationships. You will have a full ownership for country sales and Financial targets.
Your role:
Business Development and Market expansion
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies in collaboration with the North Africa Network Business development team to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in Algeria.
Analyze market trends customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
Leads and motivates the Algerian functional teams to achieve objectives providing guidance training and performance management.
Foster strong relationships with key customers to secure long-term partnerships.
Profit and Loss Management:
Take ownership of the P&L for the assigned country monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Analyze sales data Roches pricing strategies and operational costs to optimize profitability and ensure financial targets are met.
Drives activities to achieve revenue targets and Market penetration goals
Implements effective strategies promotional campaigns and pricing structures to maximize profitability.
Develops annual budgets forecasts and business plans aligning them with company objectives and market conditions.
Distributor(S) relations & performance enhancement
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors operating in the assigned country.
Assess the performance of the distributor(s) and identify areas for improvements
Provide guidance support and training to ensure adherence to brand guidelines sales targets and contractual obligations.
Channel Development
Assess the effectiveness of existing distribution channels and identify opportunities for channel optimization and expansion.
Collaborate with distributors to develop joint marketing and to drive product awareness and demand.
Operational Excellence:
Implement processes and systems to drive operational efficiency productivity and quality across all functions.
Identify opportunities for process improvements cost reduction and resource optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams NAN teams and Africa Chapters to streamline operations improve supply chain management optimize service quality and enhance overall efficiency.
Design monitor and evaluate Key performance indicators to ensure operational goals are achieved.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Drives and ensures cross-functional collaboration within the Algerian team.
Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders including North Africa Network Business Development operations finance technical support compliance and different sub-regional chapters to ensure alignment and support for the operations within the country..

Who you are::
Qualifications & experience:
You have a Bachelor/Masters degree in life sciences laboratory biochemical biomedical or equivalent is required.
You have a significant (>15 years ideally) experience of working in commercial and/or business development for the IVD market.
You have a significant (>5 years ideally) experience of managing more than one team from different functions like sales service finance and/or business development
You have a strong sales acumen and proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
You have a proficiency in stakeholder management including effective communication collaboration and negotiation.
You have an experience in working and collaborating with distributors in North Africa.

You have high selling skills and ability to utilize different selling techniques based on different situations.
You have Financial and analytical skills.
You have Strategic selling know-how and ability to perform stakeholders mapping and develop strategic selling plans for complex sales situations.

You have ability to lead different teams and coordinate support and resources.
You have communication and presentation skills and ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.
You have high Managerial and Organizational Skills including the ability to set SMART Goals align goals between different functions prioritize endeavors optimize resources assess and drive action plans design and monitor KPIs .
