Work Arrangement: Onsite
Shift: Afternoon (Mon - Thurs 4pm - 2am)
Work Location: 90 Belfield rd. Etobicoke M9W 1G4
Job Summary
As a Machine Operator (Machine Shop) you will be responsible for the accurate stocking of all parts relevant to the Machine Shop department in the designated stockrooms. This includes cycle counting issuing material in/out of store locations identifying labeling sorting organizing and cleaning stock of parts. This also includes disposing packaging material cleaning Machine Shop Stores and maintaining the highest level of organization and cleanliness in the work area.
As a Storekeeper you will
- Unpack and issue material into the Machine Shop Stores.
- Dispose packaging materials.
- Organize work in the metal finishing area to maximize available time for as many machines as possible simultaneously.
- Issue material out of Machine Shop Stores following the material request process.
- Identify and organize stock.
- Cycle counts of inventory.
- Update trigger levels for re-ordering levels.
Who are we looking for Someone who has
- Available to work the Afternoon Shift
- Blueprint reading
- Computer based training/knowledge
- Oral written communication sills
- Follow standard practices attention to detail sequence and correctness
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
