Under the direction of SSS Occupational Therapists this Educational Assistant position provides blocks of support in the domain of gross motor fine motor printing and written output development to Whitehorse students both individually and in groups in various schools

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Please clearly demonstrate on your cover letter and resume how you meet the following qualifications and experience:
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent;
Experience working with youth;
Post-secondary training in Exceptionalities Worker Program Special Education Teacher Education Early Childhood Education Social Services or Medical Services would be an asset.
Recent experience as a therapy assistant or education assistant supporting the implementation of intervention programs designed to improve students skills would be an asset.
A diploma and/or recent coursework in OT Assistant or PT Assistant would be an asset
