Job Description

  • Part Time Opportunity 0.8 FTE - Fixed Term until 1 June 2026
  • Hybrid working (from home and across all of our sites)
  • Influence and advice on our safety and wellbeing activity
  • Grade 3 - Health & Allied Services Managers & Administrative Workers (Victorian Stand-Alone Community Health Services (Multi Employer) Enterprise Agreement

The Opportunity

You will make a difference by working collaboratively with the leadership and operational teams P&C Manager Business Partners and broader P&C team you will embed a safety culture at IPC Health that values physical and psychosocial wellbeing across the organisation.

Contributing to the development of strategic initiatives that support the wellbeing and safety of our people and the achievement of the Workforce Strategy.

What youll be doing

  • Keeping our safety policies relevant effective and fully aligned with legislation and our workforce strategy
  • Lead Workcover claims and return to work journeys with transparency care and consistency
  • Drive proactive solutions to our safety issues and concerns
  • Advise on the safety and wellbeing initiatives across the organisation

To succeed you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in OHS or Human Resources or demonstrated on-the-job experience
  • Experience of working within healthcare or related sector
  • RTW coordination skills and demonstrated incident investigation experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of all principles of OHS risk management and their application in a complex diverse healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex OHS and workers compensation matters
  • Highly effective influencing written and verbal communication skills

*A Working with Children Check & Police Check is required.
