Job Description
Fahrenheit Advisors is assisting our Accounting client Reva with their need for a Manager of Client Accounting and Controller Services to join their small but thriving and growing team of accountants. Based in Midlothian this is hybrid/remote position.
About Reva (formerly RollForward Accounting)
Reva short for revenue is a national high-growth firm providing outsourced accounting and advisory services to residential property management companies (single-family multi-family and HOA) and real estate investors. They deliver high-touch high-tech solutions that help their clients scale with confidence from AP and reconciliations to strategic consulting.
They are in the middle of an exciting rebrand and everything is changing including their name website and vision for the future. With $1M in current revenue and a bold target of $5M Reva is building the infrastructure team and leadership required to scale across the country.
Position Summary
Theyre looking for someone who has strong Controller skills; but who is much more than a Controller. This is a new strategic role for someone who is equal parts financial expert operational leader and team coach. Reporting directly to the CEO (currently acting as CFO and Controller) youll be stepping into a position that is central to building a stronger more autonomous leadership structureand to scaling the company for what comes next.
Its designed for a systems-minded solution-oriented leader who thrives on making sure clients are being serviced at all levels bringing clarity to complexity and running high-performing teams with accountability and heart. Youll be hands-on in leading day-to-day operations and key client deliverylike a working manager who makes sure everything runs right and better every day.

What Youll Be Doing
Client-Focused Finance & Accounting
- Lead client accounting operations (AP GL payroll reconciliations billing/collections)
- Assign and manage workflow across the team to ensure timeliness and accuracy
- Review and approve all key financial deliverables
- Onboard and transition new clients with precision
- Serve as a go-to expert for client accounting questions
- Ensure top-tier client service with sharp detail-oriented execution
People & Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of 9 (from CPAs to entry-level including both domestic and global staff)
- Foster a collaborative accountable team-first culture (think basketball team not top-down org chart)
- Drive team performance through thoughtful KPIs coaching and feedback
- Create an environment where people are trusted challenged and supported
- Thrive in a fast-paced vibrant and high-energy company culture
Systems & Operational Leadership
- Continuously improve workflows and processes to support scalability
- Lead implementation and evolution of our tech stack (e.g. Xero AirTable HelpScout UKU)
- Be a true partner to the CEO on strategy and operational decision-making
- Deliver insights and reporting on client health team output and opportunities for improvement
- Act as second-in-command on daily operations freeing up the CEO to focus on growth and vision
What You Bring
- Bachelors in Accounting (required); Masters or CPA (strongly preferred)
- 3 years in a Controller or senior Accounting Manager role
- Proven experience managing teams and scaling accounting operations
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and automation tools
- Familiarity with residential property accounting or a fast learner eager to dive in
- A confident people-first leadership style
- Detail-driven tech-comfortable and wired for fast-moving environments
- Strong communicator natural systems thinker and team enabler
