Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer. In this role you will be generating work instructions and ordering tooling to execute fabrication or procurement of airframe details assemblies and installations. ME will work with the design engineers during basic and detail design phases to assure design is producible and can be fabricated to meet cost and schedule targets.
During the manufacturing/test phase the candidate will provide technical support to Operations during aircraft assembly and respond to Sikorsky airframe supplier inquiries. ME also participates in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost of poor quality using 6 sigma tools. The ME candidate will perform all the above in accordance with Sikorsky Engineering Standard Work.
Must be a US Citizen.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college
-Experience in engineering or manufacturing related experience
Desired Skills:
-Experience working on aero structures
-Experience with analysis of 3D models
-Experience with analysis of specifications on equipment tooling and manufacturing using mechanical techniques

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
