Job Description
ASF Org. is responsible for delivering the speech middleware stack across multiple Alexa devices.
- As a QAE on the ASF QA team you will champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline using both automated and manual tests reporting and verifying defects and signing-off on features and release candidates
- You will own authoring and the execution of test plans and test cases.
- You will have a significant impact in the quality and delivery speed of our software our business and most importantly our customers.
- You will work closely with developers product managers and other QA in order to ensure the features we deliver to our customers have a high level of quality.
- In addition you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the teams speed quality and efficiency.
- The candidate will have good hands-on experience in test automation and testing with good knowledge of the core software testing techniques and have good communication collaboration analytical and problem solving skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Preparing Test Plan & Test Strategy for the QA Org.
- Write test plans & test cases
- Execute both functional & Perf. tests
- Automate tests by leveraging existing automation - frameworks and making enhancements in existing frameworks
- Add automated tests to the pipelines to have a scalable DevOps model with minimum developer friction
- 4 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience developing high quality test plans test designs test strategies and test execution
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
