About the role

As a Team Member of the Unley Civil and Response Team you will join a group that takes pride in maintaining and servicing The City of Unleys community and assets. This position involves emergency response sweeping street cleansing signs maintenance and trades maintenance. It also offers a diverse range of reactive works suiting an individual who thrives in a busy environment where you dont know what the next day will bring.

About you

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Experience in the operation of plant and equipment including backhoe excavator loader sweeper (MR) leaf blowers & chainsaws
  • Experience responding to customer requests and proactively resolving queries within a reactive environment.
  • Ability to undertake construction and maintenance activities including:
  • Paving repairs concrete works (kerb & water table) road repairs & drainage maintenance.
  • Replacing and installing street signs & traffic management data collection devices in the Council area as part of a defined program.
  • Street and drainage cleaning graffiti removal and street sweeping
  • Line Marking experience desirable but not essential.
