DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In the role of Staff Psychiatrist you will take on the pivotal responsibility of leading a multidisciplinary treatment team ensuring cohesive and effective patient care. Your duties will extend to providing coverage for fellow Staff Psychiatrists during their scheduled leaves or emergencies thereby maintaining continuity in psychiatric services. You will conduct thorough and formal psychiatric assessments meticulously reviewing all psychiatric diagnoses to ensure accurate treatment plans. This position entails performing and documenting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients conducting monthly medication reviews and responding to urgent situations as they arise. Furthermore you will actively engage in the development of performance improvement initiatives and contribute to various hospital-wide programs enhancing the overall quality of care provided within the institution.
