RotatingOverview:
Sentara Health is seeking a motivated and team-oriented Supply Chain Associate I to support inventory and logistics operations at our warehouse facility in Ashland V
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Travel: Some local travel required
Responsibilities:
Place inventory replenishment orders
Receive count and verify items on shelves (including expiration dates)
Fulfill and process supply orders
Load and unload delivery trucks
Maintain records of incoming and outgoing products
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forkliftstraining provided)
Assist in cycle counts and basic reporting
Use Excel for inventory tracking and record maintenance
Education
- High school Diploma required
Certification/Licensure
- No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
Required:
At least 1 year of experience in inventory warehouse or logistics roles
Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and lifting up to 50 lbs
Valid drivers license (travel required)
Basic Excel knowledge
Strong attention to detail and a team-focused mindset
Willingness to learn and undergo 23 weeks of on-the-job training
Preferred:
Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift)
Background in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required
