Job Description
T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Senior AWS DevSecOps Engineer to support the US Department of the Treasury TCloud enterprise cloud development effort. This effort aims to facilitate holistic multi-cloud solutions (AWS Azure OCI and GCP)to meet the Department of Treasurys enterprise-wide infrastructure needs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
- Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write build and deploy scripts.
- Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
- Support implementation of security policies standards guidelines and governance.
- Continuously assess onboard and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.
Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelors degree and seven (7) years or more of related experience or Masters and five (5) or more years of related experience.
- Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas:
- Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira Confluence
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab Bitbucket Artifactory)
- Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
- PowerShell or Bash Scripting
- Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Cyber tools- Aviatrix Orca Splunk Qmulous STIG scanner
- Terraform Ansible CloudFormation
- Git branching strategies GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
- Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Desired:
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or higher certification
- Active Treasury clearance preferred

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines the annual base salary range for this position is $125000 - $170000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
