Job Description
Cake Decorator Job Description
- A person excited and passionate about cake decorating.
- Provide premier customer service
- The ability to stand for an entire shift
- Work weekends
- Be able to work with buttercream and cream cheese frosting & lots of fondant work
- Must be able to work late nights if needed to finish orders during busy season
- starting at $10 based on 90 day review and experience
- Work closely with baking and cashier team
- Keep weekly list of supplies and ingredients needed for all cake orders
- Cake decorator with experience working directly with custom cakes and frosting cakes and cupcakes for daily retail sales.
- Experience in cake consultations and sketching ideas for customers including wedding cakes
- Creating simple and detailed custom cakes including wedding cakes (photos of past work required)
- Frost decorate set-up products for the cases
- Maintain high standards for product freshness and quality
- Train other associates as needed
- Assist with delivery and set up to wedding cakes as needed
- Assist in other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- 5 years experience as a custom cake decorator
- Knowledge of decorating
- Able to deliver friendly prompt and courteous customer service
- Able to read write and perform simple math problems
- Work well with others as a team membe
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour
