Job Description
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Full-Time Staff Associate (Removal Technician) at Mountain View Funeral Home. We serve as the cornerstone of our client family support structure acting as the glue that holds everything together. Responsibilities
- Transport deceased from various locations to Funeral Home Assist with funeral services such as transferring and lifting of deceased dressing and casketing visitation viewings and witness cremations
- Handle general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles belonging to the facility Treat all customers and passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Drive company vehicles within legal standards Assist in preparing the memorial area for the family before the services start
- Set-up flowers and other memorabilia and ensure they are returned to the family after the service
- Ensure that flowers and other memorabilia are returned to the family after services
- Answer customer inquiries professionally either by phone or in person
- This is a swing shift position: 3 PM-11:30 PM Monday-Friday
Qualifications
- Funeral professional experience preferred
- Valid drivers license and ability to pass MVR check
- 1 year of experience in customer service preferred
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Experience handling difficult situations
- Ability to lift 150- 200 pounds without the assistance of mobile or powered equipment
Compensation
- $20.00-$22.00/hr.
