What You Do
The Content Specialist is based in our Washington DC office and reports to the Senior Managing Director Communications and External Affairs. You are responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy to advance the Foundations brand thought leadership in family engagement and sustainability of our work. You are a strategic thinker and Flamboyans lead writer for our family engagement work based in DC growing Flamboyans profile through multi-platform content creation and expanding engagement among our stakeholder audiences. You collect and tell compelling stories of the Foundations work and equity-driving impact. Youre comfortable with proactively bringing ideas and pitches to the table and then figuring out how to make them happen. You partner with your External Affairs teammatesin both DC and Puerto Ricoand colleagues across the organization to ensure our content is strong current on message and on brand.

Flamboyan Foundation is an in-person workplace. All staff are expected to work out of its DC office located at 1730 Massachusetts Ave NW Washington DC We are currently in the office four days per week (M T Th Fr) with one day of telework (W).
This position reports to the Senior Managing Director Communications and External Affairs. The starting salary for this position is $82790 .
