MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/equivalent.
- At least four years of professional trade experience which includes:
- basic maintenance and repair
- preventative maintenance
- seasonal readiness/winterization
- carpentry
- construction
- custodial.
- electrical
- HVAC
- painting
- plumbing
- renovation/remodeling
- Hands-on experience with a wide range manual and power of tools
- Skilled in managing tasks through work order systems
- Solid foundation in basic vehicle maintenance
- Confident user of Excel and Word for tracking and reporting
- Proven leadership with oversight oftrades teams
- This role involves regular local comply with YSS insurance requirements youmust:
- Be at least 21
- Have a valid state drivers license anda clean driving record
- Maintain auto insurance that meets YSS coverage standards
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- budgeting
- inventory management
- report writing
- Experienced in project management with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Customer-focused and collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective in managing time priorities and resources for self and teams
- Clear and concise communicator both written and verbal
- Knowledgeable in ADA and OSHA compliance standards
The IDEAL Candidate Will:
- Have a few trade certifications.
- Know what IBC means.
- Be mission-driven with a commitment to equity inclusion and positive social impact.
- Consistently approach their work with humility respect and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.
