Were Hiring: Delivery Driver (Engineering / Aerospace Sector)
Join a well-established aerospace engineering company in Dorset specialising in the supply and delivery of high-precision components. We are looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to transport aerospace parts to various customer sites and internal facilities.
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm (12.30pm finish Friday)
Salary: 13.50 per hour
What Youll Do:
- Deliver aerospace components safely and efficiently across customer sites and company locations.
- Load and unload vehicle ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and ensure the van is maintained and presentable.
- Represent the company professionally to clients and partners.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road.
What Were Looking For:
- Must be over 25 for insurance purposes with Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
- Distances will be local Dorset and Hampshire deliveries but also national up to 300 miles.
- Previous experience in a delivery role ideally within manufacturing engineering or aerospace.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy or awkward items safely.
- Reliable punctual and customer-focused.
Nice to Have:
- Experience handling aerospace or technical components.
- Forklift licence or manual handling certification.
