A great opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a small friendly engineering team at a well-equipped food manufacturing site in Middlesbrough. Working in a modern facility with current-generation machinery youll play a vital role in ensuring smooth production through planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery (e.g. flow wrappers ultrasonic cutters)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and plumbing faults
- Support site improvements and maintain high standards of safety and hygiene
- Collaborate with production hygiene and technical teams
What Were Looking For
- Mechanical & electrical engineering experience (essential)
- Comfortable working weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday (12 hrs) /Monday (totaling 40hrs 42hrs) (including bank holidays)
- 17th/18th Edition desirable
- Experience in FMCG or food production preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and flow wrap experience is a bonus
