Job Description
Infosys is seeking an Azure Linux Administrator to contribute to identifying best-fit Linux lead to support day to day operations and handling Critical incidents and troubleshooting bridge calls and also assist L2 admin in the team.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson TX or Tempe AZ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider four years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of Linux administration experience
At least 4 years of experience in using variety of Azure Cloud technologies (e.g. Virtual Machines File shares NetApp Storage DR and Azure Site Recovery)
Experienced with:
Azure Linux operations VM Provision OS/Resource upgrades Troubleshooting and best practice implementations
Scripting: Good scripting (e.g. PowerShell) and automation skills using Ansible and DevOps pipeline
ITIL process on incident change Problem management and Governance.
Good to have experience on PaaS services or AKS
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work with onsite and offshore team and manage Major incidents Change implements and SLA management.
Participate in the Major Incident / Bridge call during Server outage and Linux troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS related issues
Support the PST hours and work as a team member
Participate in weekend on-call rotation for support of servers outside of normal business hours.
Must have work experience in 24x7 production support environment

Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources

Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
