Job Summary
General Description:Specific duties may include conducting gage calibration program; incoming parts inspection; inspection of customer required critical measurements; maintaining necessary paperwork according to customer requirements and Quality Department guidelines.
Job Description
Basic qualifications include
- Ability to understand prints basic mathematical ability including functional use of decimals
- Ability to use micrometer calipers optical comparator microscopy and other precision measuring equipment as well as CMM operation upon completion of training.
- Ability to use calibration equipment to measure and adjust gages
- Willingness to engage in limited travel as required for training or customer relations
- Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) plus Mapics and other programs.
- Must manage priorities well in a team environment
- Other preferred attitudes include: self-starter positive leadership cooperates with management encourages others supports company goals and high ethics.
- Any training or experience with quality systems or measurement systems is helpful
Physical requirements include
- Ability to regularly bend kneel lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
