Program Director - Johnson County Montessori Preschool
Full-Time Salary $60000 - $70000
GoodLife Innovations is seeking a Program Director of our Johnson County Montessori Preschool (JCMS) to help create maintain and lead a positive learning environment for the children we serve (aged 2.5 years - kindergarten). As the Program Director of JCMS you will manage the day-to-day operations and service delivery at JCMS to provide an educational nurturing and safe environment for children staff and parents. The Program Director requires a commitment to early education positive intervention and inclusion of children with special needs. This leader must enjoy working closely with teachers; demonstrate strong organizational written and oral communication skills; work well with parents; and meet all standards set by state and national licensing.

Job Duties Include:
- Overseeing all operations at and services provided by JCMS
- Managing admissions and intake processes for children
- Supervising all staff related to JCMS (making hiring decisions ensuring staff are trained providing necessary coaching/feedback scheduling staff and substitutes)
- Communicating with parties involved in JCMS services (parents school districts other GoodLife departments)
- Managing the monthly budget for activities supplies groceries etc.
- Ensuring JCMS is in full compliance with KDHE preschool licensing requirements
- Working on-site for daily supervision and support
Required Qualifications:
- Must meet KDHE Program Director qualifications for a program serving 100 children
- Education requirements:A degree in child development or early childhood education; OR a degree in a similar field and 12 semester hours of education/training in child development/early childhood education
- Experience requirements: One year experience as a Program Director in a preschool center serving >24 children OR as an Assistant Program Director in a center serving >100 children
- Fluency in technology specifically with Google applications (Gmail Drive Docs Sheets)
- Ability to direct team members and give feedback effectively
- Ability to manage time effectively with strong skills in delegation and follow-up
- Valid Drivers License and safe driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Montessori experience and certification (if no Montessori certification JCMS will cover cost of acquiring certification within first year of employment)
- Experience writing Individualized Education Plans treatment plans and progress reports
