General Statement of Responsibilities:
The Count Attendant assists with the daily count according to the established procedures; ensuring that the counting and wrapping machine equipment is in working order. Attend to paper jams when necessary; wrapping cash after it has been counted; assuming joint responsibility for the assets accounted for during the count until it has been signed over. Perform other duties as assigned.
*Must be willing to work in a secondhand smoke environment.
Specific Areas of Responsibilities:
- Counting and wrapping of monies.
- Maintain a shift log and note any irregularities or problems.
- Help ensure cleanliness of work area and machines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be age 21.
- Written and oral communications are required in the primary language used in the work area.
- Basic math skills.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Must qualify for a Gaming License.
- Must be able and willing to work any schedule holidays and weekends.
Physical Qualifications:
Requires bending reaching standing walking lifting up to 15 pounds grasping hand and finger dexterity and repetitive motions.
Preference Policy:
Preference will be given to qualified Susanville Indian Rancheria Tribal Members. Indian preference is granted in accordance with P.L. 93-638.
