Job Summary:

This opening is for a Strategic Supply Chain Project Manager on the Facility Supply Chain Team. You will lead key process improvement projects within supply chain logistics and demand and orders functions.

Responsibilities/Job Duties

Identifying defining and implementing integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
Establishing and governing effective linkages partnerships and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
Investigating and recommending industry benchmarks metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains inventory utilization and business partnerships.

Top Candidates Will have:

• SAP or MAMM experience or knowledge
• Previous operations/manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance.

Supply Chain Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Supply Chain Best Practices and Standards: Knowledge of best practices and standards for improving the effectiveness efficiency and safety of the design production and distribution of manufacturing products; ability to create and implement best practices and standards for various manufacturing processes and activities.

Supply Chain Process Design and Development: Knowledge of how to develop or design a Supply Chain process; ability to establish and determine which processes and parameters should be opted to improve functionality and costs.


Capacity Planning & Management - MFG: Knowledge of tools approaches and practices for determining production demand and ability to manage resources needed to provide satisfactory levels of service.

Change Control - MFG: Knowledge of the processes and procedures by which a change is identified evaluated approved monitored and documented; ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively.

Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of the philosophy principles and implementation approaches of lean manufacturing; ability to integrate and implement lean manufacturing philosophy into existing production and management processes.

Additional Information:

This position requires the candidate to work full-time in the Decatur IL office

Summary Pay Range:
