JOB SUMMARY
Provides spiritual care to patients families and staff within assigned settings in conjunction with CPE students and spiritual care volunteers. Incumbents are typically assigned to specific service lines or functions but may be temporarily assigned or reassigned at managements discretion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Bachelors degree and successful completion of four units of Clinical Pastoral education or be in their fourth unit upon hire.
Enrollment in a Masters degree in theology or associated discipline that is recognized by a chaplaincy certifying body.
Within five years of date of hire an incumbent must have submitted application materials to become certified.
