Job Description
Responsibilities
As a Product (Data) Analyst you will be at the forefront of transforming data into valuable insights helping our domain teams make informed data-driven decisions before building new features.
- Enable Data-Informed Decisions: Conduct in-depth analyses that answer specific business questions and foster an understanding of what drives growth for our product. Encourage data-driven decision-making across all teams
- Define and Track KPIs:Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs data requirements to establish meaningful metrics that align with product goals and accurately reflect product performance
- Build and Optimize Dashboards:Ensure visibility of key metrics and performance indicators by developing and maintaining reports and dashboards in Tableau
- Support Self-Service Analytics:Build and optimize data sources allowing teams to explore data and derive insights autonomously
- Contribute to Product Development:Set up A/B tests or other quasi-experiments for new features and product developments to derive recommendations for improvement and growth of our business
- Collaborate with the Data Engineeringteam to ensure data quality accessibility and seamless integration of data sources supporting efficient analytics and reporting processes
Skills
- Bachelors or Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Data Science Statistics Mathematics Business Analytics Computer Science)
- Proven experience (2 years) in a product analytics role preferably in a B2C or marketplace environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g. SQL Python R etc).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Looker Metabase etc)
- SolidStrongunderstanding of product analytics including user behavior analysis A/B testing and statistical analysis
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
