The Manager Scotia Financial Planning Supervision plays a critical role in Scotia Securities Incs (SSI) commitment to minimizing defects and regulatory risks at the national level. This position involves working within a team of licensed Branch Compliance Officers (BCOs) and providing support and oversight to the Regional Managers and Financial Planners. The primary focus is to contribute to the National Teams efforts in promoting compliance with BCO Accountabilities and Supervisory Responsibilities. Additionally the Manager will contribute to enhancing mutual funds subject matter expertise across all registrants and minimizing regulatory risk. The incumbent will also participate in ad-hoc initiatives providing expert knowledge in the understanding and remediation of emerging risks and/or new issues and will be responsible for the sustainment and the promotion of all changes and innovations in a dynamic regulatory environment.
