Job Description

  • Varied role with a great blend of accounts payable & other accounts duties
  • Immediate start / Full time / Hybrid office attendance
  • $75000 to $85000 inclusive of superannuation

About the role:

Due to investment and growth Bartier Perry have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team. This role reports to the Accounts Supervisor.

While this role is based in our Sydney CBD Office at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and remotely.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and payment of supplier invoices
  • Assisting with trust account payments and receipts
  • Receipting
  • Co-managing the company credit card expenses
  • Dealing with internal and external enquiries in an efficient and timely manner
  • Develop business partnering relationships with Legal Assistants
  • Assist with continual process improvements
  • Maintain efficient financial processes internal controls and procedures
  • Assist the finance team as required

About you:

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • 2-3 years experience in a Finance Assistant role. Experience in legal / professional services is advantageous;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Outlook Excel and Word;
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks;
  • The ability to accept direction retain knowledge/training and follow instructions effectively and efficiently; and
  • A positive attitude towards work and helping others and the ability to work independently and within a team.

While experience working with Aderant Expert practice management software is preferred it is not essential and training will be provided to the right candidate.
