About the Role
- Support and monitor Workplace Health and Safety compliance in accordance with the Mort & Co Safety Management System.
- Provide day-2-day support and advice on all Workplace Health and Safety processes policies and procedures to managers employees and contractors.
- Facilitate safety incident investigations internal audits and inspections.
- Deliver training at inductions toolbox talks and safety meetings.
- Undertake a range of administrative support and record-keeping activities to support the Workplace Health and Safety function.
About You
- As a motivated professional committed to driving a positive safety culture at Mort & Co you should also possess:
- Strong personal commitment to safety and demonstrated experience in achieving positive Workplace Health and Safety outcomes.
- Minimum of Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or relevant industry or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience in Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and compliance.
- Strong communication skills proven ability to develop strong working relationships and innovative problem solving abilities.
- Possess a strong work ethic ability to use initiative and remain level-headed under pressure.
