Job Description
Location: Watertown NY 13601
Shift: Day Shift Monday Friday 40 hours/week
Annual Salary: $65561.60 - $108160.00
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and establish customized treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for patients with physical cognitive or emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams (physicians nurses physical therapists speech therapists etc.) to coordinate and optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families on home exercises adaptive equipment and strategies to enhance independence and recovery.
- Document patient progress update treatment goals and maintain accurate timely medical records.
- Must be flexible and willing to float between units or departments as needed.
Requirements:
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) Required
- New York State Occupational Therapy License Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational therapy Strongly Preferred
- Experience in adult acute care or inpatient rehab (IRF) settings is a plus.
