About the Role
An artisan pottery studio in the Lower Hunter Region (Brandy Hill NSW) is expanding its online presence and community reach. We need a detail-oriented junior who can keep our social channels active responsive and on-brand without having to create original content from scratch. You ll work closely with the studio owners and a content creator ensuring posts go out on time and the community feels heard.
Responsibilities
- Schedule & publish pre-supplied posts across Instagram Facebook TikTok X (Twitter) and LinkedIn.
- Community management: like comment answer basic DMs and flag anything requiring owner input.
- Engagement boosts: follow relevant local makers markets pottery hashtags and regional tourism pages; jump into conversations to raisevisibility.
- Light reporting: weekly snapshot of follower growth reach and top-performing posts.
- Process improvement: suggest timing tweaks hashtag optimisations or platform features we re not using.
- Collaboration: stay in sync with the owners and our content creator so messaging product drops and class promos align.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year managing business or brand social media accounts.
- Confident English communication (written & spoken).
- Familiarity with basic scheduling or management tools (Meta Business Suite Buffer Hootsuite etc.).
- Solid grasp of Instagram Reels Stories and TikTok trends.
- Reliable internet computer and ability to work autonomously.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Portfolio or screenshots showing accounts you ve managed.
- Experience in handmade craft or small-batch e-commerce niches.
- Canva or Adobe Photoshop skills for minor tweaks to supplied assets.
- Formal study in Marketing Communications or similar.
