A fast-growing and well-established long term care team is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Physician to join their team in Bronx NY. Being surrounded by a friendly enthusiastic most welcoming staff and having professional development assistance the individual will thrive in this position!
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing routine follow-ups and assessing residents health conditions to determine a plan of care.
- Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan.
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients medical history.
- Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities.
- Prescribe medication and drugs.
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients family members and the medical team.
Requirements:
- MD license in the state of NY
- Board Certification
- DEA license
- Ok with nursing home setting
- Responsibility and reliability
Schedule:
- Full time (40 hours/weekly)
Compensation:
- Competitive salary ranging between $200000-$275000 annually Bonus structure!
