Job Title: Physician Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Job Type: Full-Time Permanent (Employed)

Location: Munster IN

Service Setting: Outpatient

Coverage Type: Clinical

Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday Friday

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: General primary care population

Patient Volume/Census: Not specified

Phone Consults: Yes

Case Mix: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine outpatient only

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: EPIC fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII

Office Equipment Available: Standard primary care equipment

Specialty Backup Available: Collegial group of system physicians

Support Staff Available: Nurse practitioners in outpatient settings

Reason for Coverage: Growth and expansion of physician services

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 90 120 days post-offer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain)

Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Experience: Open to all experience levels

Other Qualifications: Supportive system for mentorship and development; EPIC proficiency

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive outpatient care for a diverse patient population

Collaborate with other system physicians in a collegial and growth-oriented practice

Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation

Contribute to the expansion of primary care services in a growing health system
