Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide onsite behavioral health services at a residential care facility in Washington County Texas. The ideal candidate will deliver individual and group counseling to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities supporting their emotional and psychological well-being as part of a collaborative treatment team.

Requirements:
Master s degree in Counseling or a related field
Current Texas license as an LPC
At least 3 years of counseling experience
AHA CPR certification and negative TB test (within past 12 months)
Ability to pass a background and fingerprint screening

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy to residents.
Conduct behavioral assessments and develop treatment plans.
Support individuals facing emotional developmental or social challenges.
Provide therapeutic support for individuals with ADHD Autism Spectrum Disorders & those at risk of suicide using evidence-based interventions.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Deliver trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.

Administrative Responsibilities
Complete all required orientation and onsite training.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all privacy policies (AUA compliance).
Submit training and licensure documentation as requested.
Obtain prior approval for any after-hours services.
Ensure all services and records meet clinical and regulatory standards.
