Reporting to our Project Director - Renewables youll complete a groundbreaking project that will shape the future of energy in Aotearoa by adhering to the approved scope timeline consent conditions and budget.
Being based at site youll also be the kaitiaki (guardian) of the project responsible for the wellbeing and safety of all personnel so your leadership will inspire and motivate your team fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
As an experienced practitioner youll navigate the complexities of project management with finesse from final procurement through to construction commissioning and handover. Youll ensure the availability of resources engage proactively with stakeholders and support the Project Director in maintaining strong relationships. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be crucial in managing risks and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

Qualifications :
To excel in this role youll bring over 10 years of construction project management experience within the energy industry complemented by a relevant degree in engineering or equivalent qualifications and professional registration. Your international project management exposure and experience in the renewable energy sector will also be highly valued.
A deep understanding of the Health and Safety Act especially in relation to construction sites is essential along with knowledge of contract law and the NZ Resource Management Act. Youll also possess in-depth expertise in quality systems risk management and project controls including costs and scheduling. Additionally your procurement and contract management experience will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects
