Joining us in our Facility Project and Commissioning Officer role you will be the critical interface between Facility Management and project delivery teams; covering project handovers to be successful and not disrupt facility operation.
You will be responsible for ensuring all upcoming & live project works within a Facility are planned designed implemented and handed over with Operational considerations and approvals clearly captured and processed.
In this role youll see yourself:
- Proactively partnering with the Facility Management Capital Works Development and Customer Success teams Contractors and sub-contractors to define interface requirements timeframes notification periods and other relevant co-ordination aspects.
- Overseeing contractors involved in projects co-ordinating access and site inductions reviewing contractor presented documentation isolation management pre-start meetings and oversight of works.
- Assisting with testing and commissioning activities as a Facility Subject Matter Expert (SME) managing operational risks associated with operational equipment and services.
- Managing the handover of new capacity tranches and equipment ensuring a smooth transition including all relevant documentation training commissioning and other handover requirements are executed.
- Managing defect identification and closure process rectification within the project prior to handover to ensure facility quality standards are met.
- Ensuring project delivery teams adhere to Facility Management processes
- Act as the Facility lead for customer fit-out projects
As a successful team member you will also participate in the facility team on-call roster to provide support addressing any facility related emergencies or issues.
About you:
- Proficient knowledge of electrical and mechanical configurations design and installation within critical environment.
- Understanding of critical environment infrastructure including electrical distribution cooling and fire systems etc
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in project software (i.e. Procore Aconex)
- Experience with building management and monitoring systems
- Exceptional planning organising and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills
Qualifications :
- 2 years experience in critical facilities environment or similar.
- Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate diploma degree or background is desirable
- Proven ability to negotiate with and manage stakeholders team-based decision making experience with working across teams.
- Candidates MUST be Australian Citizens due to security clearances required
