About the Role

Would you like to become an Accredited Contaminated Land Site Auditor

Join Ramboll as an Audit Assistant and become part of a highly skilled team of Auditors and assistants working on some of the largest and most high-profile contaminated land projects in NSW and ACT. Through provision of insightful mentorship and guidance this opportunity is a proven pathway to accreditation with our current Auditors all previously working as assistants at Ramboll.

Ramboll is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contaminated Land Audit Assistant/ Environmental Consultant to join our team based in North Sydney or Newcastle on a part-time or full-time basis.

You would join a specialised team providing support to four Auditors working in an office with professionals in contaminated site assessment environmental impact assessment and due diligence and compliance auditing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review of environmental site assessments risk assessments remediation action plans validation reports and environmental management plans.
  • Analyse and interpret environmental data ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Preparation of audit comments and audit deliverables (Interim Audit Advice and Site Audit Statement/Report)
  • Support the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation.
  • Liaise with project teams regulators and stakeholders to facilitate effective environmental audits.
  • Conduct site visits and field inspections to assist in audits.
  • Stay updated on local and national contaminated land regulations and guidelines.
  • Contribute to project planning and scheduling.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Engineering Geology or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in contaminated land assessment site remediation or environmental auditing.
  • Familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations guidelines and risk assessment frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
