Job Description
In this internship you will work alongside test engineers and feature owners. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Functional testing of VM-NA braking software in the Software Lab.
- Setting up the lab and updating the HIL and lab setup.
- Work with the simulation and test engineers to develop HIL/SIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop/Software-in-the-Loop) models based on customer requirements.
- Design and execute test cases according to project requirements provided by the test coordinator.
- Perform manual or automated test case execution on HIL/SIL test benches.
- Analyze test results and log software defects.
- Support software developers in reproducing and analyzing software issues reported internally or by customers.
- Prepare project test reports and requirement coverage reports.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics Electrical Automotive or Computer Science)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Interest in software validation of automotive industry relevant products
- Understanding of software V&V methodologies tools and processes
- Knowledge of embedded software (C C MATLAB etc)
Preferred Qualifications
- Python basic development is preferred
- Experience with Agile development practices and project management tools
